It was a really great experience. after the phone call, I have a technical round. in this, I have to do predictive analysis and clustering. the interviewer was very good.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Syntelli Solutions
Interview
Applied on Linkedn. Was contacted by HR then got scheduled for a video interview. Had to remind HR about the interview. The hiring manager was pretty impatient and rude. He only asked the questions that seemed to have only one way to answer which he already had in his mind. He got disappointed if you said anything else different. He didnt seem to have a solid knowledge of statistics or machine learning. He seemed to only know about what he’s doing at the current job (probably his only job). His communication skills was terrible. He asked me all the questions about Time Series even when I already told him I’m not super strong with it (weird!). Then in the rejection email, they told me I dont have NLP and Sentiment analysis credentials while they did not ask a single question about it.

Question 1
Time series questions? What is VIF? What to do when you need to predict the number of cars passing by a certain location (whole number linear regression, later I found out that you would need to use Poisson regression)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Syntelli Solutions (Charlotte, NC) in Sep 2017
Interview
The interview process was great. I worked directly with a Syntelli recruiter. He kept me informed throughout the process and made things incredibly easy. The people that interviewed me were extremely intelligent and had an obvious passion for the company. Had the role not required me to move, I would absolutely have accepted the position.

Question 1
There was a lot of focus on data pipelining and ad hoc vs production level projects.
