I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sun Life (New Delhi) in Oct 2015
Interview
First, there was 1 hr written test, 20-20 ques of aptitude and technical each. Aptitude was very logical and u'll find it very easy if you are a logical person. Technical was mostly based on DBMS and C , so revise DBMS especially and then there was Technical and HR.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
First , they asked about my family and introduction.and then some DBMS ques. Mainly they want your Data base concepts yo be strong but i dragged my interview to C language.
they asked about indexing, types if indexes, what is normalisation, 3NF, insert a node in the given lined list(i told them that my data structures in strong)
Java ques like oops their concepts sql and interview questions related to operation system and DBMS then asked questions ins tring longest substring ..then ask about myself and project deeply with many subtopics in that ..need conc and good communication
The process was longer and more difficult than expected for the role. Some interviewers came across as dismissive and not very respectful, which left a poor impression. The technical questions were reasonable in difficulty, but the overall tone of the interviews felt unfriendly.
Asked about experience listed on resume. And asked to explain about past work experience and any listed projects. Specifically, about how you as an individual contributed and they asked further about any listed technical skills that were relevant to their tech stack.
