I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stripe (Melbourne) in Apr 2020
Interview
Brief call with a current employee to give an overview of the role and for the candidate to ask questions.
Next stage was a pair programming interview with an engineer, where a problem was posed and the interviewer watches you solve it. The question was very difficult and its something you'd see from companies like Netflix or Google. Was very surprised at the difficulty of the question given this is more of a sales role.
It was interview friendly process as it was a recruiter screening. It was a behavioral interview and we were both trying to figure out if the role was a good fit.
I had an HR chat first with general questions like "tell me about yourself". Then had a technical interview with the engineer team. It was a good experience overall. Didn't get an offer.
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Stripe
Interview
It was 5 interviews, including a coding test and a case study presentation. My process took over 8 weeks. Set up was pretty typical with technical, behavioral and cross-team questions. The case study was a presentation and a working demo using their API. The prompt had stated a basic, minimal implementation, but the feedback I got for my rejection was that my implementation was not advanced enough, even though it was functioning per the requirements.
