I applied online. I interviewed at Stericycle in May 2018
Interview
Phone interview with the worlds worst connection. Told to expect an email to confirm the scheduled in person interview...that never came. Never heard back after leaving a voicemail. Ghosted. I can appreciate not being a perfect fit for the opportunity, but man up and say so.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Unexpected to not be able to hear the interviewer clearly despite tying to connect 2 times. Interviewer admitted to phone issues.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stericycle (Northbrook, IL) in Feb 2020
Interview
The process is slightly backwards, but in a good way! I started the process by shadowing a current employee for ~30 minutes in order to get a sense of the job. I took notes on what I saw and was later allowed time to ask questions and discuss my thoughts on what I witnessed. It gave me a great sense of what the job will entail, compared to just a written job description.

No tricky questions or anything out of the ordinary .
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Stericycle (Northbrook, IL) in Oct 2019
Interview
Phone interview with an HR representative, lasted approximately 30 minutes. Upon completion, I was scheduled for an in person interview. That interview was a little lengthier, it started with shadowing an employee for about an hour. Following that, I interviewed with 2 of the sales managers and the GM.
Everyone I met was very polite and made me feel right at home.

Question 1
How comfortable are you using the phone making inbound and receiving outbound calls?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Stericycle (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2019
Interview
Brief 15 mins phone screening which lead to a 30 min in person interview with the direct hiring manager to talk a little bit about my work history and dug a little deeper into my skills and experience. That in person interview lead to a 20 min follow up phone interview from the hiring manager's manager who asked about broad experiences from my past work.
I had to chase down the hiring recruiter who ghosted me for 2 weeks to finally tell me I did not make the cut. overall a pretty east process but the fact that they left me hanging for over two weeks seems to bother me more then it should. Its not that hard to send off a quick "thanks but no thanks" template email to candidates.
