Had an initial 30 minute recruiter call on zoom to discuss the role and background with some technical skill questions. Did not go through to a next round of interview.

Question 1
How do you stay motivated while doing data entry tasks?
Best interview experience I’ve had in my working career. Hats off to Lisa, first recruiter that I came across that truly cared about you as a candidate! I wish all companies were like this

Question 1
If you came onboard, what is the first thing you’d do in your role?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Starface (NY) (Brooklyn, NY) in Jul 2024
Interview
There were 5 steps for this interview process, but I only got to the 4th:
1) HR
2) Hiring Manager
3) Assessment/Project (Paid)
4) Panel
5) 15-minute chat with the SVP
The HR talk was fairly quick. She was really nice, empathetic and informative. Mostly a vibe check to see if it's the right fit. I got to the next round with the hiring manager who is the Director of Copy and thought I flopped, but heard that I'll be making it to the assessment portion by the end of the call. The assessment was pretty hard for what they pay you for it—especially since they keep the IP for the project. The same day I turned it in, I was informed I made it to the panel interview. I thought I did really well, but I didn't make it to the next round. Monday, the following week, I got a call from HR (went to voicemail) that I wasn't going to move forward because the competition was stiff, but they enjoyed meeting me and were impressed. Said she wants to keep in touch for future roles, and she seemed genuine. At first, I didn't see the voicemail so I followed up in an email, and she told me she left a message but to call her whenever I can. I'd never gotten a rejection call before, and she seemed really enthusiastic about explaining it over the phone, but once I listened to the voicemail, I sent a polite reply about how I'd love to re-connect if the time is ever right.
Overall, the process was pretty smooth and HR was super communicative. A bit devastated I didn't get the role.
