I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Staples (Vancouver, BC) in Apr 2016
Interview
Met the manager, and she asked me to introduce myself first. Since I have no work experience and I am still in school, she asked me to give her some examples where I could show that I can manage to balance my school life and work life. At last, she gave me some condition questions. It was my first formal job interview. I think I did pretty well. : )
Twelve rounds with a required dance number and an audience-provided question and answer period. Spelling test provided at the end of the process to final round candidates if successful at interview.
Easy , straightforward , conversational . Didn’t ask any questions out of the ordinary. Asked about cashier process and systems, methodology etc. Met with a few ppl at different levels
