The first interview is with the Managing Director. It is a basic interview where they ask about your experience and assess your fit with the firm. A few days later, they send you an NDA to sign along with an investment case, which is essentially a data room for one of the portfolio companies they have invested in. You are given seven days to present a pitch on the investment or an investment memo. In my case, I had to determine whether to buy, hold, or sell. Next is the interview where you present the case in an "investment committee" setting. This is followed by more questions, such as "Why venture capital?", "What do you like about the industry?", and "What can you bring to the team?" The final interview is the actual offer. All interviews are conducted by the MD and a team analyst.
