I applied online. The process took 8 months. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Dec 2015
Interview
I applied for the position when the window was open for prospective candidates. I completed my phone interview three months later. The interviewer was friendly and polite. He made me feel very comfortable. I received an email from the company asking that I be patient while I advanced in the process. One month later, I received a phone call to arrange for a F2F interview. I was flown into Dallas, Texas where I was interviewed. Southwest is a wonderful airline and their people department are amazing. They make you feel so comfortable. Fingerprints were taken onsite. A skills test was taken. Determining if you could walk through an aircraft exit door, could walk down the aisle easily and if you could fit in a jumpseat. Later I interviewed with a recruiter and a current flight attendant. They were both friendly and warm. I was asked three questions in the interview. Also, I turned in my documents that they had requested earlier. We were all told that we would receive an email within two weeks notifying us of our status. Right now, its only been less than a week since I have interviewed. My advice would be to relax, have fun and be yourself.

Interview
So far, it has been moving at a great pace. I have only completed my on demand interview, and I am scheduled to attend my face to face in the near future! The online interview was great - be yourself, smile, and use the uninterrupted time to really express yourself! I'm very grateful for this opportunity and best of luck to all those applying!
