I applied online. The process took 9 months. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2018
Interview
Applied on 2/5/18. Phone interview on 5/5/18. F2F on 11/14/18. CJO on 11/19/18.
I went through the process with Delta and United and SWA was much more real and genuinely wanted to get to know "ME" not just some canned answer that sounds good in STAR method. In fact during the PI and F2F they never asked me to answer in STAR method. Neither the PI or F2F was rushed, each about 40 minutes. The F2F interview was with a flight attendant and HR rep and they both asked questions. I really thought we clicked and felt good about it when it was over. I am over 50 and I am so excited to start this new phase of my life!! I was told that training would commence around Mar-April 2019.

So far, it has been moving at a great pace. I have only completed my on demand interview, and I am scheduled to attend my face to face in the near future! The online interview was great - be yourself, smile, and use the uninterrupted time to really express yourself! I'm very grateful for this opportunity and best of luck to all those applying!
