Applied Feb 5th, 2018. Received an email on March 26th,2018 to schedule my phone interview. Did phone interview on March 28th, 2018. My phone interview was amazing!! The woman I spoke to was such a joy and so excited speaking to me. We had an amazing hour an half phone call. Received a phone call the following day that I would be moving forward to the F2F and it would take 6-8 weeks to hear back. My F2F was scheduled for July 10, 2018. F2F was good. Interacted with the other candidates there. When it was time for my one on one. The two that interviewed me, were very short and didn’t smile. One of them sat there with arms crossed and stared at me the entire time and never asked me one question. The other, who asked me all the questions, asked me everything about Southwest History, to define and give examples of the core values, asked me to show them how I am a fun person, they also asked me to prove to them that I was the right person for the job. After 20 minuets, and a number of eye rolls and exasperated sounds from my interviewers, I was given handshakes and told thank you. I knew walking out that I definitely didn’t land the job. I felt very defeated the moment I sat down and started speaking to them. I understand they do look for the right people for the job, but , to be made to feel like you’re defeated walking into it, leads me to think, they weren’t looking to hire that day.
