I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2017
Interview
Online application, then sent a request for a writing sample, followed by a phone interview, the then flew me down for a thirty-minute in-person interview, then they flew me back in after that for two more department interviews, finally, they called me with a contingent offer of employment if I passed a background and drug test. This took about two months altogether.
It was a one way interview software was rlly buggy and syas you can redo the videos if you mess up but you cant :(. All behavioural basic like why southwest, why this position specifically, how does your experience, course work and involvemnet align with this position, a time you had conflict.
Lots of STAR style questions that pertain to past experiences. The interview was primarily conversation based, and not intimidating at all, would definitely recommend in any department, even if nervous.
It was quick and easy. This was the first round and more of a screening to make sure I met the same requirements that were mentioned on the application. They only asked 3 behavioral questions.
