I applied August 13, 2016 and received a phone call on August 29, 2017 from a very nice lady out of Atlanta asking me if I was still interested in the FA position with Southwest. I said yes, of course!! The recruiter said that I would be receiving a "read only" email within the next three weeks and I received it on September 11th. Now I'm waiting for a call or email to hopefully update my work info and schedule a phone interview. It is a very long process but well worth the wait. Southwest is a stellar company to work for and I would be truly honored to become a part of the SW family!! Just be patient and be prepared for situational questions using the STAR method...and know about the company.
Application, ODVI, F2F. All pretty straightforward, emphasize safety and customer service. If they like you, youll get moved onto F2F round. Practice STAR Method and be comfortable talking in front of a camera

I applied online. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Houston, TX)

The interview was on zoom in 2022. It was with a recruiter and flight attendant. They were very nice and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. The whole interview took around 30 minutes.
I applied online. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in May 2026
Interview
So far, it has been moving at a great pace. I have only completed my on demand interview, and I am scheduled to attend my face to face in the near future! The online interview was great - be yourself, smile, and use the uninterrupted time to really express yourself! I'm very grateful for this opportunity and best of luck to all those applying!
