Worst candidate experience I have faced.
The interview itself went well, and I was given clear assurances that I would receive an update. However, after investing my time, preparation, travel, and effort into the process, I was met with complete silence. Calls were ignored, emails went unanswered, and no status update was provided.
Rejection is part of hiring, and most candidates can accept that. What is difficult to accept is being left in limbo with no communication whatsoever. Candidates deserve basic professional courtesy and transparency, even if the outcome is negative.
A company's interview process reflects its culture. If candidates are promised updates, those commitments should be honored. Ghosting candidates after interviews is unprofessional and creates a very poor impression of the organization.
Pros:
Good technical discussion.
Cons:
Poor communication, lack of transparency, no respect for candidates' time, and failure to provide promised updates.
