Songdew interviews FAQs
Here are the most commonly searched roles for interview reports -
The process is very simple, the founder takes your interview. there is a HR screening and then the interview. The interview is very simple . You prepare basic PM interview questions
It was a smooth process. Nothing to get scared of. Be confident
Show me enthusiasm and your will to learn.
Also, be prepared for some out of the box questions. E.g your opinion on politics
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Songdew in Dec 2023
Interview
An initial phone call with the Founder, followed by a Zoom meeting, an assignment to complete and then a face-to-face round.
The interview process was the worst one I have experienced so far. The Founder is not trustworthy at all and lied during the interview for no reason. I was told by them (even though I didn't ask) that they haven't hired employees for the legal department EVER (when in fact I had spoken to a couple of ex-employees who worked in Legal before the interview).
Constructive criticism: it is okay to admit that you have hired people before and that they left after X months for whatever reasons. Lying about something like this and for absolutely no reason at all only makes you look shady.
Secondly, during the face-to-face interview, I was told straight up that AI would replace my job and that they had been drafting contracts using AI the whole time and hadn't incurred any litigation so far, so they didn't really need a person in legal- all of this whilst ACTUALLY hiring for the very role! They made me do two drafting assignments and the very next day I submitted the second assignment, the job post was unavailable on LinkedIn and I believe no one has been hired so far... so I guess that's all they needed me for.
Despite all the Glassdoor reviews and the multiple feedback from ex-employees, I decided to apply because I genuinely wanted to be associated with what the company does in the music space. But I paid a price for it by getting lied to and insulted on my face- so please don't repeat my mistake.
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY, IT IS A WASTE OF YOUR TIME AND ENERGY.

Question 1
Why are you relocating from your hometown to Delhi? (Trust me they asked me this question about 5 times throughout the whole process)
