I applied online. I interviewed at Solange Medical Aesthetics (Ottawa, ON) in May 2023
Interview
The interview was a very casual 15 minute phone call. I was offered a position with the company a week later. The job contract was not received until after a month, however. Unfortunately, they are looking for independent contractors rather than employees so I chose to decline the job offer. Some of the terms listed on the 2-year contract included being liable for unpaid taxes, providing your own insurance and equipment and granting the company rights over your media. Training is complementary, however, the terms outline that if either party terminates the agreement, $500 per day of training provided will be owed to the company. The agreement is also subject to change and termination at any time, for any reason. Compensation is solely commission, which is 15% on injectable services. The nurse is expected to engage in 6-10 appointments per month. If you would like to learn more, I strongly encourage you to ask questions regarding these matters during your interview.
