Quick process and enjoyable / enthusiastic conversation with sales recruiter; Head of Enterprise Sales Americas felt pretty wooden, was hard to read, kept checking his phone and watch during the interview, and overall lacked a way to make a meaningful connection. Would have expected more natural engagement and curiosity from the Head of Sales but didn’t leave feeling warm and fuzzy about the company, the team or him.
Treating people and their time respectfully should be a priority during the interview and with the lens that candidates are your customers too.
