I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sky Garden in Aug 2025
Interview
I applied and it took them about a week to reach out. They formally invited me to come for a face to face interview. I was told to meet them in the Larch restaurant (opposite Sky Garden) I approached a team member and then was asked to wait. About 5 minutes later, I was brought to the manager. The manager was an absolute angel, he is super lovely and very bubbly but calming energy (just like me). He explained he didn’t want it to be formal, it felt more like a friendly chat. He first said “speak about yourself and your experience then I’ll tell you more about the role and the company” so I did. He only asked me 2 challenging questions then the rest was me showcasing my skills to him and telling him why I would be a good fit for the role etc. Towards the end, I asked him what’s the next steps? He said if this interview is successful, we can bring you in for a trial just so you get a feel of the job and to see if you like it. He mentioned he’s hired people in the past and they bailed out within 2 weeks. He was so clear and transparent which was great and I really appreciated it. After the interview was over (lasted about 30 mins) 2 days later he asked me to come in for a trial (which I was over the moon about) I’m yet to attend the trial so this story is to be continued…
But I hope somebody found this helpful :)

The interview was via video call back in the Covid days. Before even we start the actual interview, right after the good morning the guy told me that my braided hair would be a problem and it’s not acceptable in that place.
