Beware of Biased Selection and Unfair Bond Policies
I am writing this to warn students traveling from cities like Pune, Kolhapur, and Sambhajinagar for walk-in drives here. My experience suggests that this drive is highly biased toward candidates with internal references, making it a waste of time for others.
Key Concerns:
Biased Selection: Despite advertising a public walk-in 15 days in advance on LinkedIn, they seem to prioritize candidates with internal references. I answered every technical question correctly (Primary Key vs. Foreign Key, Delete/Truncate/Drop, Unique Key, etc.), yet I was told my feedback was "negative." Meanwhile, a candidate next to me who admitted they couldn't answer most questions—but had a friend in the company—was selected.
Strict Eligibility: They are extremely rigid with their criteria (80% in 10th, 60% in 12th/Graduation). I saw candidates rejected at the gate for being just 2% short of these marks.
Exploitative Bond Policy: They require a 3.3-year bond with a penalty of ₹3,00,000 for a basic package of only 2.70 LPA. Most concerningly, they demand all your original documents, which is an unfair practice used to prevent you from leaving.
My Experience:
I spent my entire day preparing and traveling for this SQL/PLSQL role. After a successful technical round where I gave all the right answers, the HR came out and asked four of us to leave without a clear explanation. Seeing others who underperformed get selected simply because of "references" felt like a scam.
Final Advice: If you do not have an internal reference, please think twice before traveling from another city. It is unfair for a company to advertise a "walk-in" while only intending to hire through internal networks. Don't let them waste your time and effort.
