      Product Owner Interview

      Negative experience

      Interview

This company is NOT to be trusted. Read on... The interview was scheduled on Dec 1st (Saturday) at the Siemens office in Electronic City, Bangalore. There were about 70-80 candidates , sent by various consultancies. The manager who was in charge of the whole thing was seshu tolety. There were a few other minions named anup ghosh, girish and a lady whose name I don't recall. In the very beginning, seshu interviewed a guy whom I spoke to after the process. His interview took close to an hour. seshu came out looking pleased and a member of his team (a girl) told this guy that he was through and that HR would call him up next week for offer discussion. He was told he could leave for the day. The rest of us had to go through 2-3 rounds of interview (with seshu taking the final round) but they asked the same case/situation question that they had asked the first guy. He had kindly explained his solution to a few of us....so this round was a breeze. Finally, 5 of us (including the first guy) were told we were through and that HR would get in touch next week. A week later...nothing happens. Then we get a call from Siemens HR saying "there is one more round"..I was like huh??? They told me I was through!! She says "no no...we have a few more points to clarify". anup ghosh and girish called and asked another set of PO questions. And then, NOTHING. Another week later the consultancy is informed by Siemens that no one is given an offer because of "lack of technical knowledge". Why did they lie to us 5 candidates? Is this what we expect from a brand such as Siemens? Hell, even cheap body-shop companies don't stoop to this level. Mr seshu tolety, if you are reading this, I hope you're proud of yourself.
