Life story interview is typical questions about how I overcome things and technical interview, they wanted to see something creative and brilliant personal project with perfectly describable code.
7 interviews. Starts with recruiter, then HM, then assessment, then multiple team meetings. After the team meetings you may meet with others from other teams. Maybe HM again. The process is laid out for you from the first interview, so you will know what's coming before you get to it. Get to it.
I had intended for this to be neutral but decided to go thumbs down because one interviewer was not respectful of my time.
Timezones are a problem but I honestly rather wait for an interview with a willing party, not someone who didn't have a choice.
Phone screen - the recruiter called me for a 15 minute call however they called me 5 minutes late and I felt very rushed. Otherwise though the recruiter was very nice and I would still love to work for Shopify.
