I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ServiceTitan (Miami, FL) in Aug 2025
Interview
The interview felt vague and lacking in technical depth, with many “gotcha” style questions seemingly designed to trip me up rather than assess genuine skill or fit. The interviewer moved through critical topics—such as compensation, benefits, and specific responsibilities of the role—at an uncomfortably fast pace, giving little room for thoughtful discussion or clarification. This left the overall conversation feeling rushed, superficial, and unclear in its purpose.

Interview
The interview process was four rounds total: an initial recruiter screen, a team lead conversation, a panel presentation/case study round, and a final director interview. All in all it took a few weeks but the recruiting team kept me well informed on dates and expectations throughout — I never felt like I was left in the dark wondering what was next.
The presentation round was the most challenging part — you’re asked to pick two topics and build a real case study deck, which takes genuine effort. But it’s worth it. The process forces you to show up prepared and self-aware, and it felt like they actually wanted to get to know how you think, not just check boxes.
Two weeks in and I can already say it was worth every round. The support, resources, and structure here are unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Everything has a purpose and everything makes sense. If you’re coming from a chaotic startup environment like I was, the difference is night and day.
