I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Seez App in Feb 2024
Interview
It was rather quick. The team interviewing you know their stuff and they know what they are looking for. It can get a bit scary because there are a lot of senior members on the call especially the call with the tech team / engineers but they just genuinely want to know how you work with a cross-functional team.
They are also watching how you ask questions and the type of questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I cannot remember a lot of it because it has been a while but:
Your day-to-day of working with cross functional teams?
How do you manage issues for features that have to go live - do you push or fix it before going live?
How do you manage working with a data team?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Seez App in Mar 2024
Interview
The interview process at Seez was thorough and took approximately 2 months to complete. Here's a breakdown of the stages:
1. Initial Questionnaire: This online questionnaire with 3 topics around company business understanding, suggestions for product improvement & some product management basis check.
2.Video Screen with external Recruiter: to discuss my background and interest in the position.
3.Case Study: I received a time-consuming & deep case study related to the specific product area ( around product strategy creation with specific examples), allowing me to showcase my analytical and problem-solving skills.
4.Video Interview with multiple Team Members ( product): to assess my collaborative skills and cultural fit and get some feedback on the case study.
5. Video Interview with Hiring Manager ( CPO): Case study presentation & further discussion into the role focus. A deeper dive into my experience and how it aligns with the role's requirements.
6. Additional Team Member Video Interview: product connected.
7. Tech Team Video Interview: I met with various team members from the tech group: and engineers. Questions regarding my way of working with the engineering teams before.
Overall: The process was extensive but provided a good opportunity to learn about the role and team dynamics at Seez. You can learn a lot about this environment for you as being a remote company multiple calls are part of reality. Very much a startup culture, with the expectation to wear multiple hats in every role. Good match for people wanting to learn different disciplines fast and contribute to company expansion.
