      Account Executive Interview

      Mar 26, 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Scoop Robotix

      Interview

Initial interview with HR > Interview with CEO + Director > Custom presentation + demo > no response for over a month Spent a lot of time, energy and effort throughout this interview only to not hear from the hiring team after completing the process for over a month. The CEO and hiring team expected candidates to spend time building a custom pitch deck (evaluation on creativity and sales flow) and then doing a full demo within their platform. Their expectations were for 3 hours of prep, but the reality is it easily takes 4x that to do well. The hiring team was supportive in answering questions during the preparation, however I think their expectations and disrespect for candidates time is unbelievable. No SaaS provider should be expecting candidates to learn a platform and the details of features, hiring teams should be able to identify the soft skills required to be a successful seller within the company. Platform knowledge comes with onboarding. The demo went well and all positive feedback was received. When asked about objections moving forward, nobody had anything to say or concerns. The rejection email came over a month later, with no details on the decision. After spending hours together throughout the process, the lease they could have done is followed up in a timely manner and given feedback on why a candidate was not chosen.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Scoop Robotix

      Interview

First interview was a panel with CEO and 2 Director level. They were late to the interview so we had 25 minutes. I had a ton of questions to figure out if this was somewhere I wanted to work and didn't get clear answers. Only one of them seemed remotely personable. Everything about the entire thing raised red flags so I came here to see other reviews and seems like a lot of the same. Beware!
