I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Salmon (Philippines) (Ðà Nẵng, Ðà Nẵng) in Jun 2026
Interview
The recruiter was very polite and supportive. She replied quickly and was happy to provide feedback after the interview. The first introductory stage was a one-to-one session with a recruiter, covering general information about the project, the role, the ideal candidate and motivation. The second stage was a group call with the potential line manager. Candidates cannot progress to the second stage without completing the teaser exercises during the introductory interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salmon (Philippines) in Oct 2025
Interview
I have responded to the vacancy 1 time.
I found out through friends that I wasn't going any further because I didn't "match the stack by years." I do not know how they measured it.
A week later, another recruiter came to the same position with 0 context about my initial rejection.
The recruiter doesn't know anything about the job and asks for basic information, "Where do you live?" and "How much money do you want?" We can say that you can add fields for salary and location to the form, and this stage is not necessary.
I received a technical refusal without specifying the reasons. Ignore my questions about "is there any reason".
I don't recommend it
