Rude Cosmetics interview questions

Interviewer didn’t ask much about my portfolio, only asked me to tell him about myself and what programs i used. Nothing design related really. I usually don’t expect interviewers to know that much about design but they were clueless and didn’t know what the needed.

I entered the video interview early, and the interviewer was already in the waiting room so we began the interview. He did not ask me about myself, instead started drilling me on questions about my career. As a professional, I answered them, but he would ask personal questions that made me uncomfortable. He would then repeat questions. He did not look at my qualifications as truth even after I sent him my portfolio. Even though the job description said social media- he made sure to mention that “office work” would be included in the role. But, Thats not advertised on the job listing. I felt he was very racist. He even made a comment about my curly hair. All of the social media posts on their Instagram are of white women - absolutely no people of color whatsoever. After my interview, I came here to see reviews of the company and I’m not surprised. Dodged a bullet.
