I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Burleson, TX)
Interview
I put in an application online and in about two weeks I got a call. It was a phone interview where she asked about my availability and she explained they only hire part time and start at minimum wage. She told me there would be me and another person but when I got there, there were five more people and we all took a turn answering the same questions. You have to be talkative or you won't stand out.

The interview process at Ross Dress for Less consisted of meeting with a store manager to discuss my customer service experience, cash handling skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. I was asked situational questions about handling customers, teamwork, and resolving problems. The process was straightforward and focused on my availability, work ethic, and ability to support store operations
Fast and easy! They mainly asked about my previous work experiences and my availability. They also asked what great customer service is like to you and why I would be a good fit to the company.
I was interviewed over the phone and than asked to come in person. So I could meet the team and talk to them. It wasn't too hard but it was kind of a waste as I didn't get a call back.
