The interviewer was late and did not offer any apology or explanation for the delay. I understand that managers have many responsibilities, but it’s important to respect the time and effort of candidates, regardless of the position being interviewed for. Additionally, the questions asked during the interview were the same ones that had already been covered in the initial screening call. While I understand that some overlap is normal, it was surprising that the second interviewer seemed unaware of my previous responses. It would have been more efficient and professional if they had reviewed the notes or feedback from the first interview beforehand.
