Question 1
If a client is unhappy with the service, how would you turn the situation around?

Interview
Had an interview with 2 HR representatives for a job in Riga branch. The questions asked were inappropriate as if they did not read the resume. The HR, who lead the interview, spoke in very bad English with strong Russian accent. I consider her incompetent because:
1. She asked why I have worked at my previous company for 6 months while I worked there for 1.5 years.
2. She asked why I have worked so little at the previous company (inappropriate judgment).
3. She asked how I rate my English skills and whether I can read text in English (considering my Bachelors in Translation I find this questions completely ridiculous).
The company itself is not registered in LV but has a branch in Estonia. They do not disclose the salary as they should as per EU Regulation for EU jobs. The salary for this position was very low.
Do not waist your time and avoid these scammers!

Interview
I initially received a rejection from the company in a template email. 3 weeks later, their team PM-ed me, inviting me to an interview. That was strange but I went ahead and picked one of the slots offered. They confirmed and sent me an invitation to my email. The day came, I entered the meeting and nobody showed up! I emailed them but never heard back. A week passed and nobody even apologised! I find this extremely disrespectful and in a way personal. Things can happen, but at the very least, it’s important to inform the candidate. I’ve never before in my career have I faced such an unprofessional attitude with no respect to the person’s free time. I had to adjust my schedule for this meeting and worked from home specifically for the occasion. I advise people to stay away from this company since they clearly don’t value people’s time, they lack even the slightest respect to communicate if any changes are needed, so imagine what it would be, if you start working there.
