The interview lasted 3 hours (!!!) during which I had to do a task that tackles an actual issue that the company faces. I was then asked approximately 40 questions about my personality and life ambitions and my answers were taken down on paper by the interviewer. At no stage have I heard something positive about the role nor the work culture. Instead, I have heard how stressful the role will be and that there will be very long hours. After all of this, I have asked the interviewer if I could receive any feedback, whether I am successful or not, to which he replied: "we usually do not give feedback". After 2 weeks of no communication, I decided to call the company and find out the outcome of my interview. The same interviewer spoke to me and said that he does not have answers and when he does, he will only inform the successful candidates about the second round. I then told him that I am not interested in a role and left it at that. I consider this company to be very inefficient and old-fashioned. To conduct a 3-hour interview in the first round is absurd and the fact that they do not bother providing feedback or giving answers is very disrespectful. I feel as if I worked for them for 3 hours without pay.
