      The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Redox, Inc. (Madison, WI) in Apr 2019

      Interview

      The interview was a series of Zoom video calls. The first was an intro 1:1. The second a group call to evaluate you as a team lead and developer where you were posed a scenario as a team lead/developer and discuss how you would approach solving the problem. The third was a group call where you are given an architectural problem ahead of time and tasked with creating a presentation to discuss how you would solve the problem. The fourth was a "cultural fit" call with the CTO. Each individual discussion was informative, challenging, and engaging and the interviewers are personable and respectful. However, the communication by the talent/recruiting team was terrible and the process took seven weeks when it could have been completed in 2-4. Because of that I did not feel respected as a candidate despite the individual interviews being great.

      Thank you for sharing your experience in interviewing with our team. We are sorry to hear that you had a poor experience! Our interview process is very thorough as you described, and typically does take an average of 6 weeks. We select to hire for best fit, both for our teams, and for new team members to be successful. As a result, our turnover is very low. We understand that the time to interview can be frustrating and it's unfortunate that you felt our recruiting team communication was lacking. Our goal is to communicate throughout the process, and do our very best to keep the process moving forward smoothly, but clearly we didn't hit the bar during your experience. We'll take that into consideration and work on continual improvement. Thank you for your feedback.
