I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ROSS VIDEO (Ottawa, ON) in Mar 2025
Interview
The interview process consisted of only two rounds.
The first round with HR was very concise, friendly, encouraging, and welcoming. My set of experience and skills simply was a perfect match. The second round (Manager/Team) was similar, but it clearly had a focus on technical knowledge and experience. Nonetheless, it was still very welcoming, in the sense that there was no practical skill assessment as one might find it at other places, e.g. programming test that can be assessed in a variety of ways and is only looking for mistakes not strengths. Instead it was a very friendly conversation about technical aspects and the applicant's expertise. I really enjoyed the swift and welcoming process.
Please take my experience with a grain of salt - some of the teams at Ross seem to operate quite differently.
