Interview
Applied Online, About 2 weeks later I received an email to do a virtual interview using HireVue app, answered a few generic HR questions that video recorded your answers. Waited another 2 weeks and was invited to an in person interview at their office. Interview was nearly 50 minutes long and was with two members of the CSS team. I asked more questions about the job than they asked me how I’d fit in - felt like I was automatically rejected for the role before interview began. Some of the questions they asked where ridiculous to be honest. Told I would hear back within a week or so. HR emailed with their generic rejection template, no reason given, and asked for me to complete a survey on my experience. Furthermore, email stated to write back if I had any further questions post rejection ... haven’t heard back in over a week asking for feedback related to my interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Questrade (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2025
Interview
First round interview has two parts: 1) Digital Interview (25-30 minutes) consists of 10 questions about product knowledge and previous working experience ; 2) 1 minute typing test. Moving on to final step of the interview process for the CSS role, which will be a video interview with a couple of members of the CSS hiring team
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Questrade (Scarborough, ON) in May 2025
Interview
The interview had two rounds. The first round was conducted online and included a few screening questions, as well as a typing test. The second round consisted of a virtual panel interview conducted on Google Meet with two interviewers.
The interview process was normal like any big corporation. First would go through HR, a video self-directed interview along with a typing test, and eventually a panel interview as the final. Hiring process was straightforward after the final interview.
