I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Qubit9
Interview
I had three get-to-know meetings with this company. All of them where held online. First with a recruiter, second with VP Tech/ CTO and third with head of recruitment. I was asked about myself, my technical skillset and experience. They also said some words about the company and their plans for me. CTO did a good job hiding any type of emotion and came across a little tough what made me feel a little uncomfortable. All in all everyone was really kind.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Qubit9 (Hamburg) in Sep 2022
Interview
Great interview, found the interviewer was quite open and honest about the position and expectations, even though the post is not quite well defined (which is too be expected in a start-up environment).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked some relatively easy tech questions, focused predominantly on the tech side of things and didn't worry too much about anything else. This might of course come in future interviews.
I applied online. I interviewed at Qubit9 (Hamburg) in Feb 2022
Interview
BEWARE. They are at it again under a new start-up called Qubit9, pretending to do something revolutionary in blockchain. Calling up candidates from third world countries, hiring them for peanuts and trying to get free work done during the interview process. BEYOND PATHETIC.
I was invited for an interviewed by a delusional co-founder who asked me in the first minutes of the interview:
- How the hell did you end up in Regensburg?
- It seems like you should stay with your family for longer
- What EU passport do you have?
An extremely rude, disrespectful, hostile interview because he knew he couldn't bend reality and fit me in the third world country box and use the same old tactics.
Wasted my breath and I regret accepting the interview invitation. After checking their reviews on Glassdoor and Google, it was clear what kind of people they are. THEY HAVEN'T CHANGED A BIT.
Worthy of reporting all of this to authorities, close their operations and stop this psychopathic behaviour. Founders obviously have mental issues because they are doing business in gaming with a background in law, dentistry and neuroscience? Insecurities? Internal feelings of shame? Just embrace it, do something useful for the world, no need trying to be the next Amazon and Microsoft and STOP messing with other people precious times. It's embarrassing.

How the hell did you end up in Regensburg? Why don't you stay with your parents for longer? What EU passport do you have?
