      Software QA Engineer Interview

      May 17, 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Proxify in May 2026

      Interview

The first two rounds are the English assessment and the technical assessment. Both are automated. The English assessment is relatively easy if you’ve already used English in a work setting. It includes some technical terms. The technical assessment consists of 5 parts: the first 4 are technical multiple-choice questions, and the last one is a coding challenge. It’s not too hard, but you do need to write quite a lot of code live.

      Question 1

There were also technical phrases you’d typically hear in a standup or meeting (for example, “deploy the automated tests to production”), and I had to repeat them. A self-introduction was also one of the questions.
