I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Primary Sales Australia (Victoria, Australia) in May 2025
Interview
Ultimately I was unsuccessful in the application at the final round. I believe they went with a candidate with much stronger agricultural knowledge and was a fair choice. I think I was their "left field" choice but in my mind that shows a company with intent to innovate and explore.
I found the interview process to be thorough and fair. It consisted of three steps elevating in seniority.
Management seemed really knowledgeable and thorough whilst also presenting a warm and friendly process.
The rejection of the application at the final stage was handled well and with consideration. I found the whole process to represent a great opportunity and wish the successful applicant well.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview focused a lot on relationships and understanding of their customer base.
I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Primary Sales Australia (Perth, Western Australia) in Dec 2017
Interview
Over the phone, very relaxed and felt like a casual chat - overall very good interview. Mostly questions about interests, relevant experience, and situational. I feel they took into account that I was being interviewed for a Student Engineer position and was very understanding about lack of experience so be honest with your answers (as you should be doing anyway).
