He took me and another person back to be interviewed together. First he went over each of our applications, then told us about the company. He described two positions, receptionist and essentially a sales person. Then he asked which we were more interested in even though we applied for a specific person. He was very proud of the company, and made it clear he wanted candidates worth more than $9/hr. He used the phrase "no offense" at least 3 times. Ex: "No offense, but we want someone who doesn't just have a cheesy smile when someone walks through the door." And we were sitting there like what makes you think we would? It was like he already had the mindset that he wouldn't find any worthwhile candidates.
I made a mistake in the math and accidentally put an extra zero when the form asked how much I wanted to make a week so after talking about attention to detail that didn't look good. Whoops.
