I applied through university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Presidio (Lewisville, TX) in Jun 2013
Interview
Set up 2 webex interviews with team mangers and to determine best fit for my skill set. Very pain free process. Was given the job after 2nd interview. Took more time to do background check. I was asked a couple questions about networking and what I thought about consulting for customers. Where did I see the industry going in 1,3, and 5 years.
The Stage 1 technical internship interview at Canva is a fast-paced, 30-minute Zoom call with a recruiter designed to assess your technical foundations, product passion, and cultural alignment. Rather than a live coding test, you will engage in a "resume deep dive" where you must verbally explain the architecture, tech stack choices, and debugging processes of your past projects. The interviewer will also evaluate how well you know Canva’s core values and product, testing your motivation to join the team and your ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly.
Mostly general, a few technical questions. Arrived ahead of time. Welcoming and friendly. Seems like a good environment. Make sure you're there on time. Best of luck to anyone applying.
