Interview
I was able to get the first round of interview to chat with the hiring manager and a team member. The interview went super well (in both french and english). I have had the chance to express my enthusiasm and my expertise in the sector (coming from a similar employer's industry). I was the perfect candidate. 10 days later, I get an email from the hiring manager that they decided to move forward in searching for the right candidate. I sent a reply to this email arguing again on how I was the perfect candidate and trying to shed some light on some of the strength points I have for the position and that I would like to receive a proper feedback on as to why I wasn't selected. They immediately informed me that they got another candidate that was more appropriate for the role. the initial reply was at around 5pm (where they stated they will look keep looking for other candidates) and the second reply was receiving at 8:04 am (where they stated that they decided to move forward with another candidate). How in the world can you find a candidate overnight. I believe the motivation of the hiring manager were beyond me being a perfect candidate for the role and that it might be a gesture of discrimination for the dismissal I received.

Une pré-entrevue téléphonique avec la responsable des ressources humaines. Discussion très agréable, axée sur la connaissance de la personne. Ensuite, entrevue Zoom avec 3 personnes, avec petit test technique où on doit présenter un projet qu'on a réalisé. Ambiance décontractée pour enlever le stress.
