Interview
Helen and Rod both care alot about their business.
I applied for the job at 4:30pm, they messaged through zip recruiter at 6, then texted me at 8:30, and we did an hour long phone interview at 9pm.
Rod is the owner and I only spoke to him over the phone. He is a bit forceful and type A, but I didn't get any psycho boss vibes, but I could see it being off-putting for some. He is very blunt and to the point, but honest and clear about expectations, including the fact that he will pay good money for someone who is competent and dedicated.
Helen on the other hand, is a pleasant soft spoken woman, who knows her stuff. She gave me a tour of the facility and was very patient with my questions. I imagine she is very easy to get along with.
All in all, I wish I didn't have to pick one job, because I regret having to decline their offer.
