1. applied in 2019 - no news regarding the outcome emailed - no replies. followed up with a call - was told it was unsuccessful. fair enough, no hard feelings. 2. contacted me in 2020 - asked if i am still interested in the position. replied that i am still. turns out the new hire back in 2019 did not work out. so i was the back up option. no hard feelings. fair enough. 3. went for 2 rounds of interviews. interviewer confirmed that 'we will definitely get back to you'. but did not, despite following up with email and a call. overall, unprofessional.
