I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PandaDoc in Jul 2023
Interview
1 recruiter screening, a meeting with the hiring manager, and an online assessment. During the initial screening, the recruiter asked for an ideal salary range. The base salary she guaranteed ended up being much lower than the one confirmed by the hiring manager. Towards the end of the second interview, the HM volunteered that he'd like to extend an offer when the headcount opened up, as they were keeping applicants in a queue for their next hiring phase. A few days later I received an online assessment to complete. Before I could complete it, I received an auto-note that my application was no longer being considered. All in all, a bit of a confusing process, but it seems like people enjoy the work if they can navigate/clarify the hiring process.

Question 1
My past expirience, and why I want to work in Customer Support.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PandaDoc in Nov 2024
Interview
Applied and then met with recruiter 3 weeks later
Recruiter interview was standard, I then met with the Hiring Manager 1 week later who was clearly not interested in conducting the interview. He started off by mentioning his favorite tv show, how many children he has and his recent anniversary/vacation and then he asked me to only mention professional facts when speaking about myself. No mention of the company/why the role was open. It also didn’t seem like he read my resume or understood my past experiences as his follow up questions were not in line with how I outlined my experience.
Additionally he mentioned the team was looking to make an offer within the next 7 business days. Since I had just started the process (with 3 more steps left) this made it clear I was not going to be the chosen candidate before the 30 minute interview concluded.
I had high hopes for this company but this experience was really disappointing.
