Palantir Technologies Backend Software Engineer - Infrastructure interview questions

Applied online, then reached out by recruiter for a call to discuss experiences and motivations. Did thorough research and prepared for behavioural questions as well as why Palantir. Researched about the culture and co-founders in-depth. Recruiter only asked deeper questions about leaving previous companies since I covered the others automatically. I felt the call went really well but struggled a little to clarify reasons for leaving previous startup I was working on even though I showed strong motivations for why Palantir. As others mentioned if recruiter doesn't tell you explicitly during the call about moving to next steps and mentions they'll discuss with their team; it's a rejection. Received a rejection from recruiter the week later.
