Had a phone screening with a recruiter, went smoothly, and indicated which area of Palantir's business I was most interested in. Followed up with an interview setup with another DS within this particular area. Personally, wasn't a fan of my interviewing DS, not only did they seem rather full of themself, they joined late and were disinterested the entire course of the interview, speaking somewhat condescendingly throughout. We spoke about my reasons for applying to Palantir, some instances where I worked with data, how I did this, and why. Moved onto technical portion in which some documentation for Mesa. Was questioned on some data tables and joining/aggregation. Tbh was much more prepared for basic SQL technical questions, not Mesa, which has a more complex syntax and was certainly more challenging to learn in this environment. Ended up answering the three Mesa query questions with assistance, but ran out of time after the third, so I assume I came up short on the expected number of problems to answer. Met with an email rejection less than a week later. Disappointed, but it is what it is.
