I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (Washington, DC) in Nov 2015
Interview
Recruiter reached out to me and we chatted about myself, what Palantir actually does, and the difference between Software Engineer and Forward Deployed Software Engineer (the former builds out the core products while the latter is client facing and builds out products according to the specific project/client). Then had 2 phone interviews over a month with FDSEs who were pretty cool. Got the onsite interview invite less than a week later and went onsite a week after. Had 3 interviews, each about 45 minutes long, and then lunch with an engineer. I thought I did really well, but I got rejected 7-9 business days later.
Had a chat with HR and then a technical interview with an engineer. They gave some some quite normal leatcode type questions that I had to answer to continue to the next steps.

Interview
I have so far completed the 20 minute recruiter call, which was an easy behavioral. They asked me what I'm looking for in a job and what I do at my current role.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (New York, NY)
Interview
Quick call with recruiter then technical interview. First call was easy, fit of company etc... Technical interview was leetcode easy and code walk through. Overall, much easier than what I had read online.
