I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2018
Interview
Was contacted via LinkedIn. I took the phone interview and passed that. I had my on site couple of weeks later. I was interviews by some junior developers with 2-3 years of experience under the belt. I got 2 very easy questions and I was put to debug their code ,which was not the type of code I was expecting Palantir to have :). After 3 interviews they put you sit through 1H demo presentation which is useful if it's follow by another interview on how to use/expand/etc the product but instead is followed by taking you out, end of interview.
I would say onsite the recruiter was a bit unprofessional and the interviewers were way too young to be able to assess someone. At the same time, bases on the interview questions I would say the bar is very low to enter the company.
A bit disappointed to failed the interview but bases on the experience, the people there are not as smart as they look from outside and compared with Snap, Facebook, Google, Amazon, Uber, and other companies I interviewed with, looks to be in a lower league.
I would recommend for people with not that much preparation, and lower bar.
I would advice agains people who look at it as a top Tier Company.
They first had a technical interview round and then they had a two hour learning and decomp interview, one hour for each. Last round would have been hiring manager interview
a lot of questions needed to be answered during the application 5 rounds of interview which includes oa+karat+hr call+vo+hm very professional and caring hr team, the process of moving is a little bit slow.
