I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PQ Systems (Dayton, OH) in Apr 2016
Interview
Whichever developers were free came in to talk to me and ask me about myself, my interest in development, and my experience. At some points I was talking to someone one-on-one, and at other points I had 2 or more employees in the room with me at once.
No extensive knowledge in any one language or stack was required for the job since PQ has no problem with teaching people, but a basic competence in programming is required. I was asked to solve a couple of very basic programming problems without a computer or phone. If you've taken some intro programming courses, understand core concepts of programming, and are able to write at least pseudo-code without the help of an IDE then you shouldn't fear the interview.
