I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nielsen (Warsaw, Masovia) in May 2018
Interview
I applied online and filled their standard Taleo form. I had a phone screen somewhat like 1-2 weeks after applying. Next, I was invited for an onsite interview in their office in Warsaw. I spoke 1h with the HR person as well as head of the department. I had a nice professional chat about my experience and about the type of work they do at Nielsen. I was told I need to wait up to 2 weeks for the decision. Nobody contacted me afterward.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Nielsen (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Mar 2026
Interview
I had a very disappointing experience with the interview process of the organization. The assigned HR delayed the process by 2-3 weeks and claims every time I tried to connect with her that she is on leave and will get back shortly. Regarding the interview process, there were 2 rounds, one was the case study round in which the interviewer asked about questions regarding a case-study on movies recommendation and past projects. Next, was the coding round in which the interviewer asked the ML projects and 2 coding problems one was python based and other was sql based. The interviewer asked me to explain the logic of the code. Both were done successfully and the interviewer seemed to be positive. Then after, when I reached to the HR, most of the time she didn't respond to my emails and calls. Even if she picks up she says she is on leave. For the 2 weeks she continuously claims to be on leave. When confronted one day, she reverted back to my email that you are not selected without any reason. My advice would be to think before talking to her regarding the similar roles since there are unwanted delays and no proper process of interview.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Nielsen (Bengaluru) in Sep 2025
Interview
Got a call from the recruiter in the month of September. The interview process was real quick. All the 3 rounds had been concluded within 3 days. The first round was purely technical. Asked all typical ml and dl algorithmic related general questions in the first 30 minutes and the next 30 minutes were for 3 sql questions and 2 python coding questions. Next day the second round with senior manager was purely project based. Asked to describe a project and discussed it in depth. The next round was scheduled with the Director on the next day. It was a mix of projects and technicals. The very next day, the interviewer told me that I got selected
