I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Next I.T. (Grand Rapids, MI) in Jun 2014
Interview
a few long conversations, first on the phone, then in person, then a test with the marketing person in the company. I was familiar with this company through a friend from Comcast that was working there, and had also met the sales manager at a bid meeting. They were growing and talked to me a few times about a position at a satellite office. The first time they decided not to hire and I followed up with a card and note. About a year or so later they contacted me again, the manager was moving out of state and they needed a sales person to replace the previous one that was elevated to the management spot. There were several long conversations about related background, and then I had to reach out to the marketing person as if I was cold calling her, which I did. Shortly after I was in a position to receive and accept an offer.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Next I.T. (Grand Rapids, MI) in Dec 2016
Interview
