I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Neurowyzr (Singapore)
Interview
It was a two hour long interview where the main aspect was coding up a Mario game in React. The interviewer did not say much during the whole process but it was still manageable regardless. You are expected to ask questions to clarify if unclear yourself.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Neurowyzr
Interview
The interview process consisted of several steps. In the first call we were discussing my experience and some common questions around front end technologies. I was later invited for an on-site interview where I had a coding exercise and a conversation with the CEO. There are two reasons why I'm leaving a negative review experience: 1. They don't have any front end expertise in the house so it is difficult for Neurowyzr to assess your skills. The coding exercise was created by a backend person with a particular knack for functional and OOP programming. While I felt it is good they are testing for your knowledge about data structures, there were 0 questions on Javascript, HTML, CSS, frameworks etc. and the whole exercise was skewed towards backend. I personally felt that the interview doesn't evaluate any front end skills which you use in your day to day job 2. The one that leaves a bitter taste is that Neurowyzr completely ghosted on me even though they've said they will get back to me. After sending a follow up email, they've replied that they will come to a decision in a week. Of course, I never received a reply. I fully understand if I didn't go through or I asked for a high salary, but the least amount of decency a company should have is to let the candidate know. It's unprofessional and a red flag Other than above, the people I've talked to were nice although I felt the CEO was a bit wayang.
