I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Need A Ride Pedicab (New Orleans, LA) in Jun 2013
Interview
Rob will invite you to a very casual, possibly group or duo interview. He doesn't ask too many questions, mostly he just gets a feel for your personality and makes sure you're not a psychopath. I dressed up for this, which I quickly realized was a mistake because the setting is the pedicab shop, full of bikes and grease and sweaty clothes. I recommend dressing like you would for lunch with your parents. Rob is a great guy. One of the best people I've ever had the chance to work with, but if you've just met him, he can be a little intimidating because he doesn't really smile and he is very monotone. He kind of acts like he's impatient or doesn't like you, but don't let him scare you. He's one of the nicest people in the whole city. That's just how he talks.

He'll chat with you for a few minutes about yourself and then he'll ask you to tell him a story. Any story. Can be made up or real, funny or sad.
